How’s everybody’s christmas preparations coming along? Me? Well, it’s all been a bit last minute. For some reason I’m just not feeling it this year. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because we didn’t get a tree this year and I never really got the impetus to get the rest of the decorations out. Also with my uncle’s funeral coming up I don’t feel in any sort of a celebratory mood.

At least I had a wonderful booking yesterday. I had a chap who has “followed” me for a few years now, from my last incarnation as Brandy to this one as Kinky. He was flying into Gatwick from Denmark so I had my breath held until he actually called from Victoria Stn. What with this weather I’m taking nothing for granted. If you’re in the UK you know what the airports have been like these past few days. Anyway, he arrived on time, he says his fantasies have now been realised and I enjoyed making his fantasies into reality. Happy man sent away to enjoy the rest of his holiday in the UK.

I have an outcall to Central London this evening at 8pm. It’s going to be some fantasy roleplay with me being the naughty secretary. I’ll have to make sure and bring my tight skirt, tight blouse, high heels and push-up bra to make sure I leave this gentleman with a smile on his face. I think I’ll ask him to put on one of his work suits, add to the fantasy.

I was going to work for half the day tomorrow, Christmas Eve, but with this appointment not finishing until 10pm and not getting home until well after 11pm, I’m not sure if I’ll be in any fit state tomorrow to entertain any other gentlemen. Plus I was up and in Tesco’s at 7.30 this morning doing a bit of last minute shopping before the masses arrived. I’ve already adjusted my diary.

I have one outcall next Wednesday so if anybody would like to make a booty before New Year’s Eve, drop me a line or give me a call (bearing in mind the phone will be off for those few days at Christmas.)

I’m taking bookings this week, including a couple for this Friday, one from a particularly lovely gentleman on a day trip down from Yorkshire, who I’ve had the pleasure of seeing a couple of times before.

I say fingers crossed because according to the weather forecast the UK is set for another onslaught of snow. If my Yorkshire gent makes it this Friday, it’ll be a minor miracle in itself. Indeed if he does make it down, it’ll be another miracle getting back up North again. He told me he’d already put off a visit a couple of weeks ago because of the first round of snow. I have everything crossed Mr Yorkshire Guy. See you Friday.

The snow has finally reached London today, after days of my chuckling at all the other parts of the UK that’s been caught up in this adverse weather. It didn’t look too bad first thing this morning, I sent my progeny off to school thinking this is as bad as it was going to get. I then got ready to go to my Other Job and I couldn’t believe how much snow had accumulated by 9.30am. I thought okay, let’s just pop into Tesco’s for a few bits and pieces and we’ll see if I can make it to my Other Job. The short answer to that was no. I called and informed my office manager that I wouldn’t be coming in.

But instead of going back home and not realising that the snow was not going to cease anytime soon, I thought I’d go and pick up said offspring from school because I could see the grief and hassle that would ensue should they try to make it home by themselves later on in the afternoon. What absolute hell!

On the way there it took me about an hour to cover a 15min journey. The car slid a few times and it was a miracle that when I lost control of the car and it did a major slide to the kerb there were no cars parked. That was scary. Then after I picked up said offspring, I couldn’t get back up the hill, so we had to find an alternative route back home, which took me nearly two hours. Bearing in mind this is normally a fifteen minute journey. I had to make sure the roads I took didn’t have any steep inclines and I don’t think I came out of 2nd gear all the way home. I sent a few prayers to Jesus/Allah/Buddha or whichever diety that might’ve been listening to get us home in one piece and I don’t think I unclenched my buttocks until we were safely parked outside the house. After letting go of the dashboard, car door handles and any other solid implements they could grip on to, said offspring says, thanks mum, but next time we’ll take our chances walking. We’ll be safer. I’m inclined to agree.

I consider myself very lucky that someone was indeed watching over us, because during my sojourn out into the snow we passed a few ambulances, a couple of recovery trucks with pranged cars and other vehicles that were either broken down or stuck because they couldn’t get up any inclines either. Other cars in front of me were skidding all over the roads as well and I made sure to keep my distance. Just catching up with the local news and it seems my part of London, along with the Kent/Essex borders was worst hit in the capital.

I always had my reservations about driving in the snow and I just thought I was being overly cautious. But if I can help it, I’m never going out when it snows again. At least, not in the car, like my progeny I’d rather take my chances and walk. And with this inclement climate, I’ll be suprised if we don’t see more snow before the end of this winter.

I hope there wasn’t anybody that wanted me to come to Birmingham because I’ve changed my mind about going I’m afraid. I should explain.

As you know it was originally Wolverhampton after I garnered some interest on a FemDom forum after a client wrote a lovely review about me. Unfortunately though, the client could no longer make W’hampton due to work commitments, so I thought I might change the venue to B’ham. But for one reason or another the interest seems to have waned and whilst the trip wasn’t for another month, the vibe I got wasn’t good. I know it sounds silly but I just didn’t have a good feeling about it. And remember I was only going to the West Midlands because I was asked to. But since that’s no longer the case I no longer see the need to go. The one remaining gent that was still interested in seeing me I’ve written to to apologise. I hope he understands. He’s welcome to come see me in London.

But…I am seriously giving some to going to the Channel Isles for the first time. Jersey maybe. I’ve always been curious about going but unfortunately the law is a bit convoluted there and whilst my counterparts have had successful tours (some haven’t), it all has to be a bit cloak and dagger. But I have made it back and forth to the States so I’ll just have to make sure and apply the same discretion.
I tell you what, thank God for living in the UK. I’ll keep you updated.

With the volcano in Iceland still erupting, flights in and out of the UK are still grounded indefinitely.

I was just watching news video footage of MSNBC where it shows the chaos at Newark International Airport in New Jersey, which is where we were last Wednesday. It’s so strange looking at the footage and thinking, “gosh, we were only there a few days ago”. People are stranded and are actually sleeping rough at the airport because they can’t get home. Lovely Americans are offering their homes to stranded passengers as people run out of money and can no longer afford a hotel.

Seeing the chaos at Newark International really does make me count my lucky stars that we made it home okay. As I said previously, we landed at Heathrow at 8am on Thursday morning, by 11am all flights were cancelled. And my travelling partner wanted to take advantage of Continental bumping three passengers on to the later flight as they had overbooked and were offering any takers a $500 voucher towards their next flight. Pfft, that wouldn’t have done me much good if we did get stranded, would it?

Anyway, it is good to be back home. Good thoughts going out to those who weren’t so lucky.

I had a gentleman write to me a couple of days ago email me to tell me how much he enjoyed my blog. He started following it after he came to see me a couple of months ago.

I do get the odd compliment when gents come and see me, but to have somebody take the time to write to me to tell me how much they enjoy my blog is truly touching. So thank you A in Israel.

I have to admit, I do get a kick when somebody tells me they enjoy my ramblings. Sometimes I do have a rant and I’m unsure whether or not to reveal how I really feel. But there seems to be those who have come to understand me and know when I just need to vent, or when I need to take the mickey out of either myself or the job. Blogging really does help.

I’m not sure if my blogging will be cut back once I start my volunteer job next week as I’m afraid it’s not something I can talk about much without giving too much of me away. We’ll see. But thanks to those who’ve faithfully followed me. Whether it be from the beginning, intermittently, or just last month.

Again, Happy New Year to you and if you’re in the UK, don’t let the freezing temperatures get you down. Make this year a good year, I plan to.xx

I’m usually like a babbling brook aren’t I? Although I haven’t been too busy with work (just a couple of bookings), I really haven’t minded too much, it’s given me the chance to rest my knee and do some webby stuff. I really would like to be in tip-top condition when I go to LA next week. It is getting better though, surely but slowly.

Goodness, I can’t believe the trip’s nearly here already. It finally hit me this week when I started making preparations. I’ve signed up to an American forum, The Erotic Review to see if that might help with the tour. I reckon it’s also good for the odd overseas visitor to the UK. I already have a couple of old reviews on there so I thought, why not. And our American friends must be laughing with the weak pound at the moment. I’ve also put an ad up on Eros.com, which is brilliant for US tours, I did well with it when I toured NY two years ago. And I’ve even found a site where I’ve bought one of those US sim cards that I can use in my UK work phone. And because I don’t know when to stop looking, I’ve found yet another hotel in LA that’s well within my budget. It’s near shopping, restaurants and not too far from the beach. Plus it’s got free internet too, which is good as I plan on bringing my laptop with me. Thank God for being an obsessive, lol.

Isn’t it funny. Nobody in the UK wrote and gave any ideas about where to visit. I won’t take it personally *sticks out tongue*. And no P, asking me to “stay in London” does not count, lol.

I received emails from a couple of gents in the States, including a request to come to Philidelphia, but to be honest I’m not sure how that tour would go. New York was also mentioned, but I’ve done that before. Besides, it’s very expensive, especially with us Brits with the weak pound at the moment. And I wanted somewhere new.

So I had a chat with mate Sarah Jane and because she’s been before and can recommend it, I’ve decided I’m coming to Los Angeles. It’s a lot cheaper than New York too.

I’ve been to Northen California, San Francisco to be exact, for a break a few years ago and I loved it, but I’ve never been to LA. And I’m kind of drawn to the warm weather. Do you blame me, after the UK suffering a month of freezing temperatures over Christmas and New Year?

I’m quite excited now that I’m planning it. I’ve done a bit of research and I’ve already made reservations at a hotel that looks good. I always read Trip Advisor for objective traveller advice (for work and for play) and it hasn’t let me down yet.

What a difference two years make. When I stayed in NY for five nights in 2007, it was about $1.80 something to the £. It cost me $1300, which at the time was about £700. Now $1300 is about £900, and I can only get four nights for that. I must admit that was a major factor in my decision-making. Although it’ll cost around £100 more in air fare, LA hotels are much cheaper, basically half that of a decent hotel in NY. Plus the hotels are becoming less and less discreet and client-friendly now. The hotel where I stayed at before was one of the few in NY that didn’t require keycards for lifts or doormen demanding to see your room key. Now from what I’ve read on Trip Advisor, that’s now changed. I do understand and appreciate that since 9/11 things haven’t been the same. But it is becoming increasingly difficult finding a client-friendly hotel now.

Things seem to be more laid-back in LA, and I haven’t read of any such stringent conditions to have to adhere to with a lot of the hotels I researched. But then again, they didn’t suffer the horrors of 9/11.

Anyways, I’m rambling. So, Los Angeles it is then, for a few days near Easter time. I’ve written a dedicated page for my site and it’ll go up in the next day or so. So for those who’re interested, please feel free to have a peruse at your leisure then drop me a line. And I hope to be making your acquaintance very soon.
