•    I’m liking this hotel incall thing.

I’m not sure if it’s because I had two wonderful clients on Wednesday or what. This time I was near South Kensington, SW7 and the hotel I used was just lovely and not too far from the nearest tube station. I think I’m just liking being able to pick a hotel, book it, turn up, give my best to my clients, then go home again. No drama, no being let down, no having to depend on anybody. And the great thing about booking a day room is that when I reserve a hotel room, I don’t have to leave my credit card details; so if a client doesn’t confirm, I’m not charged. I can even cancel by 10am on the day of the booking, the same time I ask clients to. So if they don’t confirm, I cancel – simple. Another thing I like is having the choice to pick from a few hotels in the Central London area that’s within my budget and also suits the client’s geographical needs. In fact, the more I think about, the more I’m leaning towards just doing what I’m doing for now, I’m in no rush. If I find somewhere, fine. If I don’t, again, fine. So for now folks, hotel incalls is what I’ll be doing for now. There will be certain restrictions, like I can only take same day bookings if I’m already working, and I can only work until either 5 or 6pm, depending on the hotel, but hey, I can live with it and it’s better than nothing. If you haven’t been to see me during the past few months, what you don’t know is that I had two incall addresses at Earl’s Court. Yep, the original incall place lasted about a month and through no fault of my own I had to give it up but I was referred to someone else just down the road. As it wasn’t too far I didn’t see the point in mentioning the change of address, especially as I wasn’t there long enough. So you can appreciate my reticence in having to depend on somebody else’s place to take my bookings from. Hotel incalls are simply more attractive to me at the moment. And remember I can still do the odd outcall in the evenings if I have to. Blimey, a day in the life, eh!

In the meantime I caught up with Warrior Amy on Thursday and we lunched at Fish!, a fabulous restaurant in Borough Market. We had their Xmas Menu. She had the fish pie, I had grilled sardines and salad. My dessert was sticky toffee pudding with ice-cream. Scrumptious. I would’ve taken a pic but I didn’t pause from eating long enough to get the phone out. I’m not sure if it’s the food or what but I’ve talked Amy into taking on an admin role on SAAFE, which I consider to be a massive boon to the site itself. She’s always been a huge champion for the rights of sex workers and if anything close to her heart needed publicity she could always use it as a platform.
And get this, I’ve also talked her into coming to New York with me next March, which’ll be fantastic. Well, think about it, the job search looks like it’ll be going on for some time yet and I don’t see me finding anything in the next couple of months. And if I’m going to squeeze in one more tour, I might as well make it a big one, right? And I can have a buddy to scream at should the clients ever drive me nuts like they did last year. We’ve picked a date that we’re both happy with and we chatted about that and other things, but as usual the time flew by. She had to get back to knackering more clients out and I wanted to get back home before the rush-hour kicked in. But not without stopping at Konditor & Cook of course for some cake (again, sorry, didn’t even have time to think about getting the camera out) and I also bought a few things from the market before heading back to the station.

I know I said I was going to work on Monday but it increasingly looks like that’s not going to happen. I still have a little shopping to do before a family get-together on Wednesday and what with my Other Job on Tuesday, Monday is the only day I can finish off my shopping before then. So next week’s even more limited I’m afraid. You’ve got the afternoon of the Thursday and Xmas Eve itself. That’s it for work next week. Again, check the diary, it’s up to date.

  •    Somebody liked my pictures so much…..

they thought they’d steal a couple of them and pass them off as their own.

Another escort was good enough to call me earlier this afternoon to inform me that another BBW Black escort who, I assume, thought she looked enough like me to deceive her clients, stole a couple of my pics from my website and passed them off as her. It seems she’s touring in Ireland and her profile is on Escort Ireland and while one of the pics on her profile was a full facial pic (I’m assuming it’s her, she may well have stolen that as well, who knows), she stole one of my pics in my corset with my arse from the facesitting gallery, and also the pic in the first gallery showing me lying on my side on the bed with just my legs in my killer heels, to make up the rest of her profile.

The lady who called me knows that I have no plans to visit Ireland, nor will I ever make plans to, so she thought it was a bit strange seeing my pictures on an Irish escort directory and thought she might check, just in case I changed my mind. She asked me if I was in Ireland, I told her not on your life, why do you ask. She told me about the pics. I had to go on to the site to see for myself and sure enough, there’s no mistaking my bountiful booty on display in the directory; apparently it’s on tour in Wicklow.

To their credit I called and spoke to the webmaster and he removed the pictures there and then. He then went on to remove the whole profile. I already have my own profile on their fledgling sister site, Escort England, which he uploaded himself, so he remembers my facesitting picture. Ironically I did a Tineye search of my images yesterday, just to make sure that my pics aren’t anywhere they’re not supposed to be, but nothing came up (whilst I’ve never had my pics nicked before, I have in the past found them on obscure foreign forums). But judging by the date this thieving escort is touring, she started today, which meant she probably either put the profile up last night or this morning. I’ve been told that if you’re touring Ireland, Escort Ireland is the place to advertise, otherwise you’re stuffed. Whilst I do feel a pang of guilt at torpedoing this lady’s chances of making a living on tour, she’s not going to do it at my expense. I must get into the habit of doing a Tineye and Copyscape search more frequently, both for my personal site and for SAAFE.

Unfortunately it happens all the time in this industry. Lazy escorts new to the business can’t be arsed to come up with their own words when constructing their website, so they steal swathes of paragraphs, or in some cases like Warrior Amy, the whole site, and copy and paste it on to their site. She has Copyscape on her site and periodically checks if her text comes up anywhere, that’s how she found out. I also remember when SJ had her pics stolen on a couple of occcassions; in one case it was an eagle-eyed client who knew SJ and informed her, this escort was in Canada and she actually had reviews saying she looked like “her pics”. I guess it was inevitable that it happened to me sooner or later, but to be honest I was never so egotistical to think that it would. I always thought, “who’d want to steal my pics?” Another BBW Black escort, that’s who, lol.

With the theft of SAAFE to put on to Twitter, I can understand to a point why the escort responsible thought she was doing good putting it on there, so it can have a farther-reaching audience. I understand but as she didn’t ask permission it’s still theft any way you look at it. But to steal another escort’s photos and pass them off as you is deceiving the clients that come to see you, their custom being based on the pictures they’ve seen.

….I emailed my webmistress earlier to ask if she could water-mark my pics and she’s just written back. She was wetting herself laughing, saying of all the escorts to steal pics from, she stole from me. And the escort who called me knew immediately the pics were of me, she said she knew that bottom anywhere, lol. Yeah, bad move, luv.

Note to thieving escorts who think it’s a good idea to steal other escorts photos. Don’t steal content/pics from escorts who’ve been in this business for a good few years, with assets that are unmisstakably theirs. If the escorts themselves don’t catch you, another eagle-eyed good soul will. Better still, take your own bloomin’ pictures. I used to roll my eyes when prospective clients would ask me on the phone if that was me in the pictures. Now I understand why.

PS. You know what made me laugh the most? Written at the end of the thieving escort’s profile was this sentence: “what you see is most definitely what you get”. Umm, not really.

  •    Praise the Lord, I’m done!

After struggling the whole week with my assignment due to various distractions I have at last completed and submitted it for marking. The deadline was tomorrow at 12. Talk about close to the bone. It probably didn’t help in the same week, having to also deal with the biggest distraction of an errant escort who thought it was in everybody’s interest to steal the whole of SAAFE and put it on Twitter, without first informing me, the co-owner. Simply because she didn’t feel she had to, it was there for the taking. But no matter, it’s sorted, thanks in large part to the superwoman that is my webmistress. I’m off to do the happy dance, having completed part one of level one of the course. Next, Discovering Psychology, of which the text book arrived last week and I’ve been sniffing its new book smell (don’t laugh at me, we all have our predilictions, sniffing new books is mine; I don’t get to do that so much with my beloved Kindle, not that I’m complaining).

And so, to this week. I will be around even less, as I celebrate the completion of this part of my course by taking Friday off to go wandering around London. I think after the week I’ve had last week I deserve it: apart from still taking a couple of bookings, I’ve also had to work last Thursday covering my supervisor on the phone lines as he’s away on leave. I also had a two day training course to get my office skills back up to scratch, the 2nd day being today. So yes, I definitely deserve a day off.

I think I’ll pay a visit to my favourite place, Borough Market (even more my favourite since I discovered a small Konditor and Cook near the market itself), and then as it’s in the vicinity and I’ve been meaning to go for yonks, a visit to the Tate Modern is in order. Gerhardt Richter has an exhibition going at the moment, I may or may not go to it, we’ll see, I’m not that fussed. But I’m definitely in the mood for a Tate Modern visit. So this coming Friday will be a “me” day. I’ll still be free this Wednesday and Saturday, as I’ll still be covering for my supervisor this Thursday. But if anybody wants to jump my bones, those are the only two days free this week in which to do so.

I’m off to do the happy dance.x

  •    I’ll be swapping a “1″ for a “5″

Talk about the skin of my teeth. I’ve managed to find a new incall location in the Earl’s Court area in SW5. Incalls resume next week, not that there was much of a break, apart from today.

I went to see the owner of the property this afternoon. Luckily she saw an ad I had put up on the Girl Directory website a few weeks ago. In fact, when she had first text me a couple of weeks ago regarding it I didn’t even remember I’d had it up there, so that was fortunate. She’s a lovely lady who I ended up getting on really well with. We gabbled like hens for two hours, talking about the ups and downs of the industry; the good, the bad and the ugly.

I told her a little bit about me and how long I’ve been in the business. I mentioned SAAFE and that it was SJ and myself that conceived it – she was shocked to say the least. Seems it was a godsend when she first became an escort. She calls it “her bible”. It was all I could do to stop welling up and do that superfluous flapping thing women do with their hands when they’re about to blubber. I sometimes forget how important the site is to some escorts, especially when first starting out. It was wonderful hearing first-hand how beneficial it was to someone.

Anyway, it’s a lovely discreet flat not too far from both Earls Court and West Brompton undergrounds. It’s inbetween the two. Earls Court would be better though, as it’s bigger and serves both the District and the Piccadilly lines whilst West Brompton just serves the District line. And it’s only 4 stops from Victoria which is good. And only two stops from South Kensington, which is bad, seeing that’s where the Hummingbird Bakery is. I can see myself fighting a lot of cupcake urges in the coming months, lol.

Now for the arduous task of amending the descriptions on my website and to notify various directory webmasters of my change of location so they can make the necessary amendments.

Fingers crossed all goes well at the new place. Hope to see you there.

  •    Hello again,

…how was everybody’s Christmas? Mine was slightly disastrous, with a couple of the family members being sick; one of them with the flu; seriously, proper throwing up and everything, another with a chest infection. Which means that I had to eat most of the turkey myself. As the family went to Scotland on Boxing Day it was left to me to make sure the turkey wasn’t wasted. Which means I had it for three days, including turkey sandwiches yesterday. I hate to waste food and I couldn’t bring myself to throw it away on Sunday. Not that I’m a greedy cow, I just hate wasting food. Did your mother not remind you of all the starving children in Africa when you were a child and wouldn’t eat your vegetables/salad/porridge? It still verberates in my ear to this day. So I’ve eaten as much as I could without it sticking in my craw. All I can say is, good thing turkey’s a seasonal thing and I don’t expect to eat it again until Easter.

In other news, my fervent wait for the flight sale is over as I’ve found a relatively cheap flight to New York for the Spring. And I’m so pleased with myself. Especially as I’ve snuck a look back at Expedia today and found that said cheap flight has now increased by about £50. I didn’t realise the sale started on Christmas Day. I was doing a bit of mindless surfing, waiting for the buzzer to go on the oven when, as luck would have it, I happened on a banner for one of the big airlines announcing their “very very big sale”. Which meant if one had started it, that means they all have. Which is why I booked through Expedia, there was no point trawling through various airline websites when I could just look at one very-well established comparison website.

So that’s me well and commited to New York now. The hotel was already booked a couple of months prior (c’mon, you know me by now, this is the gal who’s already booked her hotel for Manchester in August) and I must say I’m very much looking forward to it. A colleague of mine, the one I call Amy, the pitbull of Saafe, is going for the first time in March. Don’t laugh but I’m excited for her as well. New York is not a cheap city by any means, but it is a very exciting place and I hope she has a great time. I’m even slightly envious of her because she got a cheaper deal, but I take a little comfort in knowing it’s because she isn’t going during the Easter holidays.

Apart from that, it was a very quiet Christmas. I’ve been holed up in the house on my own since the run to Gatwick on Boxing Day and as usual I’ve loved every minute of the peace and quiet. But I do have things to do before I fly out to the West Indies on Saturday. So I have to force myself to leave the comfort of my home the next couple of days to run errands and do “stuff”.

I’ll be back on-line to say ta-ta before I depart on New Year’s Day.

  •    I’m not feeling the love in Jersey.

I’ve cancelled my reservation for St. Helier as I didn’t get much interest. It’s a shame, as I would’ve loved to have seen what Jersey was like, not having visited before.
I’m sure the phone will be ringing come much closer to the time, but you know what I’m like with last minute bookings. I don’t like them too much, especially on tour when I don’t have the strength of any advanced bookings to go on. I spoke to a couple of my gorgeous counterparts, Pru in Streatham and the pitbull of Saafe Adorable Amy who were very helpful and they’ve had experience of visiting the island to work and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a bit hit and miss, not to mention all a bit last minute. I’ve been answering enquiries for here at home next week and I’ve taken that as a final sign to stay put. And judging by the tour board on Punternet, there are enough escorts out there at the moment to keep the men of St. Helier happy. I think I’ll stick with what I know. I’ve also heard there have been certain rumblings afoot in Jersey and not in a good way and I was thinking to myself if that’s ever a sign that the trip wasn’t for you, this is it. So if there was anybody who was thinking of making a booking next week, sorry mate, you’ve ‘ad it. Jersey’s permanently off my list.

And speaking of sticking to what I know, I’ve been a very busy bee online today. As well as cancelling one hotel reservation, I’ve been making others. I’ve booked my hotel reservation for Glasgow in March. I’ve also booked my flights, so I’ll definitely be there from the 11th-15th March. Watch out Twiggy, I’m coming for you. It’s all official-like now.

New York is a definite in the Spring, as I’ve recently heard from a lovely client that I saw the first time I visited a few years ago, asking me if I was planning another visit across the pond. You know me and signs, so I’ve taken that as a good one. I’ve been looking through Trip Advisor until I’ve gone cross-eyed and after all that I’ve settled on the same hotel I used back in 2007. And as luck would have it, the hotel was having a promotion where you could save if you booked via the site. So I did, and I’ve just saved myself $80. Good innit?? A good few hotels are doing that, having a promo through the Trip Advisor website, very handy.

And, don’t laugh, but I’ve also booked my hotel for Manchester next August. Yes, I’m well aware that it’s nearly 9 months away, but hey, I was in a booking frenzy. So that’s all my tours booked up for next year so far, with probably another Glasgow visit later next year and no, I’m not that anally retentive (she says, sneaking a looking at the hotel website to see if she can book a year in advance). Just the flights to book for New York but I always wait for the seat sale that usually starts just after Christmas.

Shame again about Jersey, maybe it’s too close to Christmas, who knows. And the aforementioned rumblings put me right off. But I’ve made myself happy making my other reservations. Aren’t I easy to please, lol?

  •    Which reminds me, before I go.

Talking of new pics, a couple of my favourite ladies in the biz whom I respect and admire have had new photos taken too.

Some party goers may remember Melody, her with the voice that should really be on the Sat-Nav – “don’t turn right there, or I’ll whip you to within an inch of your life” – well, she’s had some new shots done recently. As has Adorable Amy, one of the ladies I left in charge in SAAFE and guards it like a rottweiler. God help you if you misbehave on that site. They’ve both had pics done and I think they’re just fantastic. It does help that they’re both gorgeous looking chicks, lol. I can only hope mine come out half as gorgeous.

Okay, this time I’m really off.

  •    Woohoo! We won.

Do you remember when I mentioned SAAFE, the site that myself and SJ set up a few years ago for help and support for escorts, was nominated for an industry award for best website?

Well, we won. I didn’t want to go to the awards ceremony myself but the person who runs the website now, Anika-Mae went last night and I asked her to keep in touch and let me know if we won. It was a surreal moment for me when I woke up this morning and switched my work phone on to find a picture of her holding a golden penis, lol.

I texted SJ immediately and we are both very happy bunnies. It’s wonderful being recognised and appreciated for our work in the industry. Even though it wasn’t something we had mind when starting up the site.

It’s a shame I can’t put it on my CV, though. Ha ha ha. :-)

  •    As we celebrate International Women’s Day today…

I’d like to mark an occassion myself.

Back in 2004 myself and SJ up a website called SAAFE - Support And Advice For Escorts.

When I was a moderator on a punting forum back in the day, I used to keep getting emails from newbie ladies asking for advice on becoming an escort. I had a chat with SJ about it one day as it became tedious writing the same answers as the questions were always the same. It was then that the idea of a support website came to fruition. It did start off as a collaboration between a few different escorts, but they all fell by the wayside and myself and SJ were left. We’re no longer involved in the running of the website, SJ left a couple of years ago and I finally handed over the reigns last December, to cut back on my involvement in the industry. As per our ethos, the site was made and is run solely by female escorts.

Anyway, long story short, it celebrated its 5th birthday last October and SAAFE has now been recognised by my fellows peers in the adult industry. It is now up for a Best Website Award, to be presented at The Erotic Awards. We were nominated back in January and I have recently been informed that we are now finalists in our category.

I know you gents would never have heard of it, I wouldn’t expect you to. As I say, The Erotic Awards are in recognition of  outstanding work, or outstanding people, in the adult industry.

There’s going to be a big ball and an awards ceremony and everything, called Night of The Senses . It’s been going for over 20yrs now. I personally won’t be attending but the ladies I left in charge of the running of SAAFE will be. My fingers will be crossed on the evening and they’ll have to keep in touch with me. If we do win, we walk away with a flying penis. You heard me, a flying penis.

Whilst it would be fantastic if we won, it really has been wonderful to have just been recognised after all of mine and SJ’s hard work in this industry throughout the years. SAAFE has become an important resource for escorts and many of my fellow escorts recommend it to others. Indeed, the content of the site has been nicked on a couple of occassions. In one instance, large chunks lifted and put onto somebody else’s website, with no accreditation back to SAAFE itself. In another, again, large chunks of our columns lifted and used to increase another website’s SEO – search engine optimisation. It’s highly ranked on Google and, if I do say so myself, the best resource out there for newbie escorts. If we do win it’ll be the cherry on the cake.

    Wish us luck.x
