•    Hello from Scotland.

Apologies, the intention was to let you know when I was leaving home for Glasgow. But it’s been a busy few days. This past Saturday I had a tutorial at my local college in the morning. After that it was a booking at Earl’s Court. Then I had to come home and pack for Glasgow as I was leaving first thing Sunday morning. I was as careful as anything to remember everything, even down to my charger for my Kindle as I didn’t want to be caught out, only to forget the most staple contents of an escort’s handbag; condoms, babywipes and lubricant. Can you believe it? I even remembered to bring my usb adaptor for my mobile so I could upload some pretty pics to illustrate this entry, but I forgot to pack the blommin’ condoms and lube. Thank goodness for Boots.

As I’m a poor student now it was the train up to Glasgow Central Station for me. I forgot that flying on a weekend is more expensive than on the weekday, plus with my 10% off, I couldn’t resist the savings I made. It’s a five hour journey but I didn’t really mind. There was some beautiful scenes of the Lake District on the way up and although it was a busy train I had seats to myself for most of the journey. I just read, ate and slept my way up, then it was a five minute walk to my hotel from the station.

Yesterday was a good day. I got to see my Glasgow favourite for a couple of hours, a client of many years who it’s always a pleasure to see. I then had an hour with one of the horniest toads I’ve ever had the pleasure to service. Inbetween I had lunch with a good friend at my now favourite Italian restaurant just off Buchanan St. It’s called Amarone, in my opinion the best Italian I’ve ever had in the UK.
Later on in the evening I had a last minute two hour booking at 8pm with a lovely chap passing through Glasgow on his way down to London. Let’s just say I’m glad I answered the phone.

Conversely I have nothing booked in for today, on top of which, it turns out that this weekend was a public holiday but still the phone was busy yesterday so I may still get a couple of bookings yet. Glasgow tends to be a last-minute kinda town, sometimes with high expectations. Whilst getting ready to see my Glasgow favourite yesterday morning, I had a call at approx. 9.45am from a gent wanting a booking at 11am, requesting full Domination regalia – PVC gear, boots, the lot. For a last minute booking it was never going to happen.

Gentlemen, if you ever want a booking and your requests are going to be specific, best give your lady of choice a bit of notice. We don’t carry wardrobes on our backs and it’s really difficult thinking about what to bring to satisfy every proclivity there is, without making demands for certain fetishwear when you call up an hour or so before your intended time expecting it all. I’m not being difficult, I don’t mind taking last minute bookings whilst on tour providing I’m available. But the likelihood of an escort accommodating certain needs at such short notice as per the above example is always going to be minimal. She can’t accommodate and you’re disappointed. This is one of the reasons why I advertise weeks, sometimes months in advance – a) it gives a chance for client to save up if need be, a hour’s booking is still a lot of money and b) he can request certain lingerie or outfits. And if I don’t have it, I can buy it.

Anyway, if the phone is quiet today, I have my assignment to start on as it’s due next Tuesday. That’ll keep me busy enough (notice I remembered to bring my books, such was the panic to start my esssay). I also plan to take a trip down to this place at some point. It was recommended to me and I see that it has rave reviews.
Then back home tomorrow afternoon with a day off on Thursday, back to normal availability for this Friday and Saturday. See you at home.

  •    Who says nobody loves me?

After another lovely booking at Earl’s Court yesterday (yes I know, I get a lot of them, don’t I?) with a scrumptious young Jamaican chap (loved the thing with my feet, let’s do that again), I was just getting ready to go when my landlady suprised me with a gift for my birthday. They’re key fobs which she had made from raw materials. I love them. The heart and the brown fob I’ll put on my house keys and my car keys, the blue fob I might be cheeky and ask if she can make it into a neck chain, it’s too pretty to be a key chain really. So not only is she an intelligent young woman, she’s also creatively talented. I don’t think I’ve ever had bespoke trinkets/jewellry made for me, so I was well chuffed to receive them.

On top of that I received a cheque from my mum. Bless her, as old as I am, she still sends me a cheque for my birthday. And when I went into my Other Job on Monday my office manager bought me a bottle of Malibu (my favourite drink) encased in a cocktail shaker which I can mix drinks in. I’ve never seen that before so I thought that was pretty cool. I know I sound like I’m easy to please but I always appreciate any gift that’s given to me. I appreciate the thought behind the gesture, like when Warrior Amy saved a brownie for me for no other reason other than she thought I might like it and in my landlady’s case, the fact that she took the time to make the jewellry with me in mind. Fair makes me swell up that does.

  •    A lovely weekend.

After the good news of my first assignment on Friday put me in a bouyant mood, I had a couple of lovely bookings at Earl’s Court that same afternoon. One was a chap from India who comes to the UK every year to watch Wimbledon – I had seen him this time last year. He has tickets for a few matches and squeezes me into his two week visit to the UK. The other was a young chef who could only visit for half an hour. Which, in hindsight I’m kind of glad about, as he was a bit of a goer. I fear that if he had gone for the whole hour I’d have had to take a nap afterwards. I had had another booking the day before, so it was a good couple of days work-wise. Things are working out well at my new abode and my landlady is a lovely intelligent woman with whom I could debate about current affairs and not just talk about work. Long may it continue.

Anyhoo, after my half hour chap, I hopped on the number 74 bus which took me to South Kensington to the Hummingbird Bakery. They had a bit of a Wimbledon theme going on, with cupcakes decorated to look like grass, tennis balls and the ubiquitous strawberries and cream. I’m not really a tennis fan but I did think they looked fun. I stuck to what I knew and bought half a dozen assorted cupcakes to distribute when I got home, including one for my next door neighbour. I did what I said I was going to do, I stuck a candle in one of them, wished myself a happy birthday and made a couple of silent wishes and blew out the candle. Childish maybe but I didn’t care; it was a good day and I was looking forward to Saturday. The cupcakes didn’t last long and they were gone by last night.

Yesterday morning was my tutorial at my local college, again enjoying heated debates, this time on the good or evil of huge supermarkets and if they’re a detriment or a boon to the high street. It’s a social science thing. If I explain any more I fear your eyes will glaze over. But I enjoyed it. My day was made even better when a couple of my fellow students tried to guess my age, and they had me pegged at 37. And apparently that was a conservative guess. I will love them for life.
After that I hopped a train to Shepherd’s Bush for a nice long wander around Westfield Shopping Centre. Much to my delight, when I alighted from the overground station there was a small Italian market selling various goods and wares from jewellry to smelly italian cheese to olive oil. I bought some Italian multi-seed wholemeal bread, which I enjoyed for breakfast this morning with some strong cheddar. Great stuff.

Westfield was of course heaving as it normally is on a Saturday, but it still beats going to Oxford St., with nobody to pick your bag or your pockets. I did a lot of window shopping and treated myself to a new pair of Birkenstocks (my choice of footwear in warmer climes) from Schuh. Again this is where being a student pays off, as I received 10% off the purchase price of £45. Very handy. I also stopped for lunch at YoSushi where, thanks to Warrior Amy informing me of this last week, I got a third off my food bill. I do get 25% as a student but when it’s your birthday it’s that little bit more. If you’re into Japanese food it really is worth signing up to their website to keep in touch with their special offers. Whilst I had a lovely meal, I didn’t enjoy the experience as much as I normally do. It was very busy, even at 4pm, so I couldn’t read my Kindle in peace and the stools weren’t that comfortable so I always felt like I was perched on the edge. I still prefer the one at Victoria Stn although I’ve yet to try the ones in Edinburgh, Manchester and Glasgow whilst on tour. The one at County Hall is quite nice too.

By around 5.30pm I began to get fed-up of the crowds (people were still pouring in) so I made my way back home. I got in maybe around 6.45pm. It was a long but lovely day, topped off last night by watching a bit of Glastonbury and MTV with the Black Eyed Peas top 20, which I enjoyed immensely. I also caught up with the latest episodes of Family Guy, watched a couple of old episodes of American Dad!, interspersed by watching Coldplay at Glastonbury, and finally fell asleep at about 1.30 this morning. What a great day. To be repeated same time next year.

  •    Woohoo!

The results have just been posted on the OU website. I’ve received a 65% on my 1st assigment, which falls into the “clear pass” category. There are two categories above, a “good pass” and an “excellent pass”. Below a clear pass is a “bare pass” and two levels of fail ranging from 14-49%. “No result” is from 0-14%.
Although I’m happy with that, I’m sure I can do better. The next goal is to go for a “good pass”. Wish me luck on my 2nd assignment.

I have a couple of bookings at Earl’s Cout today. I reckon I’ll stop by the Hummingbird Bakery on my way home to celebrate my passing and my birthday in one go. Yippee!

  •    I’ll be swapping a “1″ for a “5″

Talk about the skin of my teeth. I’ve managed to find a new incall location in the Earl’s Court area in SW5. Incalls resume next week, not that there was much of a break, apart from today.

I went to see the owner of the property this afternoon. Luckily she saw an ad I had put up on the Girl Directory website a few weeks ago. In fact, when she had first text me a couple of weeks ago regarding it I didn’t even remember I’d had it up there, so that was fortunate. She’s a lovely lady who I ended up getting on really well with. We gabbled like hens for two hours, talking about the ups and downs of the industry; the good, the bad and the ugly.

I told her a little bit about me and how long I’ve been in the business. I mentioned SAAFE and that it was SJ and myself that conceived it – she was shocked to say the least. Seems it was a godsend when she first became an escort. She calls it “her bible”. It was all I could do to stop welling up and do that superfluous flapping thing women do with their hands when they’re about to blubber. I sometimes forget how important the site is to some escorts, especially when first starting out. It was wonderful hearing first-hand how beneficial it was to someone.

Anyway, it’s a lovely discreet flat not too far from both Earls Court and West Brompton undergrounds. It’s inbetween the two. Earls Court would be better though, as it’s bigger and serves both the District and the Piccadilly lines whilst West Brompton just serves the District line. And it’s only 4 stops from Victoria which is good. And only two stops from South Kensington, which is bad, seeing that’s where the Hummingbird Bakery is. I can see myself fighting a lot of cupcake urges in the coming months, lol.

Now for the arduous task of amending the descriptions on my website and to notify various directory webmasters of my change of location so they can make the necessary amendments.

Fingers crossed all goes well at the new place. Hope to see you there.
