…..is going to be limited as life and Christmas get in the way. This week is a prime example of that.
Today I have booked another day room at a hotel and I have a couple of bookings to keep me busy until 4.30 this afternoon, which is perfect as the room has to be vacated by 5pm.
The only other day I’m available for work is Saturday if anybody fancies a pre-Christmas treat. But remember, please give me some notice so I can book the hotel room. Tomorrow morning is the dreaded big Xmas grocery shop. This is where I cash in all the change that has accummulated in the coffee jar from the past six months. It usually adds up to about £30-£40 and goes very nicely towards the Xmas food bill including the purchase of the turkey. The stuffing, pigs in blanket and posh cranberry sauce have already been bought so it’s left for me to buy the big bird. I will be up and at ‘em first thing in the morning.

Then tomorrow afternoon I have lunch reservations with Wonderful Warrior Amy, who no doubt is leaving a trail of satiated men in her wake this week in London. It’ll be lovely catching up with her and letting her know of my latest acquisition of some Kindle books that *cough* fell off the back of a lorry, of which I’m going to try and get some on a usb stick so she can maybe upload a few to her laptop. Borough Market will also be open and I do love being there this time of year. And at Borough Market is Konditor & Cook. I still mean to treat myself for the pass of my course.

Friday I’m also busy. My unenviable skills as a mummy are called upon during the middle of the day, which will make it difficult for me to entertain the mere thought of working. Saturday is the only day left this week in which to get your leg over if you wish. Email or give me a call, let me know if you prefer London Bridge or South Kensington.

Next week is somewhat of a change as I give up one day a week at my Other Job. I will be free Monday 19th as I give myself a break from this particular job (somewhat, I’ll still be busy on Tuesday) to start another volunteer job in the new year. I’ve been thinking long and hard during the past few weeks and have now decided what I want to be when I grow up and I consider this new volunteer position to be the perfect launching pad into the career I truly desire. I really don’t mean to be opaque, I hope you understand that I really can’t give away too much of myself. I always have to bear in mind who reads my blog. Let’s just say I’ll still be helping people, they’re just a bit more of the vulnerable side of society and it’ll be more hands on. I’ll still continue to be at my Other Job, but that’s now reduced to one day a week, which is still Tuesday. January will be two years (can you believe it’s been two years already!!) and it’s time move on a little bit. Basically I’m still only available between Wednesday and Saturday.

So next week will also be a bit of a dodgy week. I’ll be free Monday, Thursday afternoon and Saturday. Wednesday is Xmas lunch with my extended family and Friday is my day at the National Gallery Museum – can’t wait for that. I’ll take pictures, if I’m allowed.
During the week inbetween Christmas and New Year I’ll be available for a few days. I do have one lunch date to keep and I’m also doing a day on the phones at my Other Job. The best thing to do really is to keep an eye on my diary. It’s updated regularly so it’s always best to check.

Have a good rest of the week.x

Well, I hope everybody’s plans are coming together for a wonderful Christmas and all you last-minute types got everything done.
Me? Well, would you believe when I did the food shopping yesterday morning I had forgotten to get dinner for tonight, so when I came back from my outcall last night I made a quick stop in Tesco’s, which, thank God, is open 24hrs. This is what happens when I shop at 7.30am, some of my faculties are still forming themselves.

When I got home at 11.30pm I was hungry, having had no dinner, so I made myself a grand meal of…..a bowl of museli and a chicken sandwich. You know the age thing that creeps up on you where it becomes less and less easier to digest a full dinner so late in the evening? I had to bear that in mind.
So of course I woke up hungry this morning, had my usual fruit for breakfast but I did go a little crazy at lunch-time. And as is usual for me, feeling furry around the eyes this morning because I didn’t go to sleep ’til gone 1.30am, waiting for the food to digest. Oh what a sexy life I lead, eh?

It remains for me to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah(sp), Happy Kwaanza and all that to those who celebrate differently around the world at this time of year. And have a happy new year or happy Hogmany if you’re in Scotland.

I’ll only be available for a couple of days next week, inbetween Christmas and New Year, remember I have my uncle’s funeral in the West Indies to attend on the 1st and what with that, my Other Job and training days at my Other Job, I won’t be available until January 13th.

Thanks to all the wonderful clients I have met this year, old and new. Thanks to my regular clients for staying my regular clients. And here’s to meeting some wonderful people next year.
Happy Holidays all.xx

Do you remember I mentioned that I had a booking today with my Yorkshire gent who had planned to come down to London for the day, squeezing in (and I mean that most literally) a visit to come see me?
Whilst doing the Christmas shopping yesterday I received a frustrated-sounding voicemail cancelling today because the snow has already arrived in the Yorkshire dales. Bless him, he didn’t sound best pleased at all. This is the 2nd time he’s attempted a visit, the first also being thwarted by the snow. 3rd time lucky, “P”?

I did have a feeling something like this was going to happen. Which is why I accepted a 2nd booking which was going to be after Yorkshire “P” at 2.30pm. The 2nd gent has confirmed and it’s turned out that his meeting finishes early and so we’ve moved our 90min booking to the now vacant 1pm. If anybody’s free at 3pm today for a bit of a tumble before your Christmas break, do give me a call. What with the snow, who knows what chance you’ll get in the next week. Tomorrow (Saturday) looks like snow and I’m fully booked next Wednesday with an outcall to Essex (again, weather permitting). Which leaves next Thursday and Friday.
Let me roast your chestnuts. No? I thought it was funny.

Just to let you know that due to a death in the family I’m afraid I won’t be available the first week in January. I have to fly out to the West Indies for the funeral which means I’ll be away from New Year’s Day until the 9th.
Then the week commencing 10th January my work days will be restricted as I’ll be attending a two day training course for my Other Job. So apart from the Monday and Tuesday which I don’t normally work, I’ll also be unavailable on the Wednesday, which means I won’t be available again until Thursday 13th January. Did you get all that?

Apart from taking the usual time off over Christmas, I’ll be available up until New Year’s Eve either at Victoria or for outcalls up until 5pm. I’ve marked my unavailability on my diary page, so if this has confused you some, please take a look for a bit of clarification.

If you’re a longtime reader of my blog you know that I always change the theme to my blog for the Christmas season. It’s probably a little earlier than usual but I was getting a bit bored with my current theme. Although I think it’s a record for me. I usually start getting restless around the 3-4 month mark, but I think I had this last theme for nearly five months now, as long as I’ve had the new site, and that was August gone. I think I really liked that theme as well, it was certainly one of my favourites. Anyway this theme is called “Christmas is nearly here”, which it is, no matter how many times I try to deny it to myself and realise that I really should be getting on with the Christmas shopping.

It’ll be a new theme again once the Christmas season is over. I’ll have a tinker around and find something that I feel suits me best. New year, new beginnings, new theme. Who knows, I may even stray from the uniformity of the dark colours I usually stick to to match the colours of my site. I may go a little crazy….wibble wibble.

Yes, it’s 20 years old and after 10 years of driving it my old banger’s falling to bits. For about a year or so, it “squeaks” when I first turn the engine. I’m your typical girl and have no idea what’s under the hood, and a friend reckons it’s the fan belt that’s going.

And now for the past couple of months the car’s becoming difficult to start. Even I know that’s the starter motor going, because the car runs fine once it gets going. And it’s getting progressively worse so I know it’ll only be a matter of time before it just doesn’t start at all.

Also one of the back windows doesn’t work anymore and the driver’s side window opens on a whim. The heating only goes to full blast and no longer works on any other setting but high. And the radio no longer works so I play nothing but CDs.

But hey, that’s been my old bird for the past 10 years. No major problems until the clutch cable snapped last Christmas (remember that). The brake pads needed replacing during an MOT and the windshield wipers decided to give up on a day it started to rain and I had to hang my head out the window (that didn’t work properly) to get to the garage so I could get new ones.

But it’s a Nissan and it’s been a strong old bird. I dug out my log book and I read the date that I purchased it was 28th July 2000. So it’s basically 10 years to the day since I first bought it.

I’ll have to make sure and work my arse off in Manchester and see if I can’t get an old runaround to last a year or so until I can save up for a decent car – I’ve always fancied a Honda CR-V. My car was supposed to go for its MOT after I got back from Manchester but I don’t need a genius to tell me that it won’t see me through another winter unless I chuck money at it and I know when to stop throwing good money after bad. At least the guys at the garage can stop pointing and laughing when they see me coming.

*Sniff*. I’m feeling a bit teary-eyed at the moment. I’m going to have a quiet moment looking out the window at the car then I’m going to get ready for my 5.30pm. *Sniff*

RIP Old Bird.

Well, not quite true but I received a letter just before Christmas from my car insurers, stating that I had paid too much insurance protection and that I may entitled to a refund.

I had totally forgot about it and was having a bit of a tidy up today (as you do after the holidays) and I found the letter in a pile of mess. Hoping that there wasn’t some sort of time limit to these sort of claims, I called my insurance company and guess what? I’m getting a refund.

Guess how much? £35. Woohoo! And that’s with interest apparently. I’m to expect a cheque in 6-10 working days. I’ll have to be careful how I spend it. I don’t want to go all crazy, lol.

Yes, in all the furore of it being the week before Christmas and going for interviews, I forgot to mention that PC World have given in and sent me a new battery for my laptop. Not only that, I also received a cheque for £53; £35 for filing the complaint and £18 for all the recorded letters I sent. SJ says if I was really mean I should’ve made them pay interest as well. Shame I didn’t think of that, but I reckon they learnt their lesson.

I may just be a little person in their eyes, but because of their totally arrogant behaviour I’ll no longer be shopping there. I’m in the market for a wireless printer as my Dell is giving me grief. My partner wanted to go to PC World. I told him not on your life. Too many other websites, let alone stores, to choose from.

Consider me a satisfied customer.

Well, mine was a nice and quiet affair, just the immediate family until yesterday, but they’ve gone to Scotland for the New Year, which means I’m on my own and I can playyyyy.

But I gotta say, a few of you gents need spanking. What part of “I won’t be available until the 28th” do you not understand? C’mon guys. I’ve switched my phone on today and I’ve got missed calls going back to Boxing Day, including a few from yesterday! I know you’re horny and you want nothing more than to get away from the festivities, but it does say on the main page that I’d only be around for New Year’s, please have a look at my blog for dates and details. And I couldn’t have made it clearer on here could I? Honestly. What to do with horny blokes when they’re thinking with the wrong head, lol. I also got a withheld number calling me this afternoon. Ooooh, come on now, you really didn’t think I was going to answer it did you? You know, the same place in which you got my number from my website, where it says directly underneath that I don’t answer them? Whoever that was, bless your cottons for trying.

Anyway, I’m back to work now. Available all this week for incalls at Victoria or outcalls to you. Whichever’s more convenient. I probably maybe over-indulged just a teensie weensie bit, so how about helping me work it back off?

Well, I thought that was funny.

Anyway, for those interested I thought I’d let you know of my availability during the holidays:
I’ll be available up until Christmas Eve, that’s this Wednesday for those who haven’t realised just how close Christmas is. Then I’ll be taking a break from then on until Saturday 27th, available again from the 28th onwards.
That means I’ll be working all the way through New Year’s. Yup, that’s New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day for those who’ve had their fill of constant celebrations with the family, and just want to get away and get up to some really naughty business with a really horny ho-ho-ho. Geddit?:-)

I’m not a big drinker, never have been, so it’s not as if I’ll be nursing any hangovers. There’s a Jamaican Rum Punch that I like to make every year, that’s as heavy as it gets. The worse thing I’ll probably get up to is too many mince pies, lol.

Anyway, if you can get away I’m available for incalls as usual, at my base in Central London, two minutes walk from behind Victoria Station on the Circle and District Line or mainline station. Otherwise I’d be happy to come visit you at home or at a hotel.

Please do drop me a line or give me a call. I’ll still have access to my emails, and my mobile will be back on from the evening of the 27th onwards.

I look forward to having you.x

(Meanwhile I hope the below pic puts a smile on your face.)
