I think I’ll make a day of it. On thinking about it, I’m going to make October 7th a nice day and night to myself. Enjoy myself I think. I have two weeks inbetween courses, the next one starting early November so I think I’ll indulge myself a bit before I launch myself into it.
I’ve booked a night at a 4* hotel near Euston Stn. If anybody fancies spending an hour or so with me on the afternoon of the 7th drop me a line or give me a call. Bear in mind I’d have to kick you out before 6pm so I can get ready for my evening out. The hotel’s also near King’s Cross/St. Pancras so it’s well-served by public transportation.
If I don’t get any takers I might go a-wandering. Warrior Amy reminds me that the British Library is in the vicinity. I may save that for another day because I’d really love to go to the British Museum and there seems to be a lot going on there at the moment. Whilst I’ve been to the Museum of Natural History and the Science Museum in South Kensington in recent years, I haven’t been to the British Museum since the school trip a millenia ago. It’ll be a nice way to start off my day of culture. Either way I’ll enjoy myself but if you do fancy some illicit how’s-your-father in a posh London hotel, let me know.

What a shame! I was offered a short job in Notting Hill which would have covered your hotel stay, but I took an assignment in the Middle east instead………Oh well, I guess that I’ll catch up with you sooner or later?
