•    What a week it’s been in politics.

Wasn’t it Harold Wilson who said “a week in politics is a long time”?  And I have to say, it’s the most interested I’ve ever been in politics. I’ve been watching the various special elections news shows Friday and yesterday, although I’m growing a little bored with all the  predictions.

I do find it very interesting though, that although David Cameron received a bigger majority than even Tony Blair did in one of his two elections, he couldn’t get a clear majority, resulting in a hung parliment. Something that apparently, hasn’t happened since 1974. I was only *bleurgh* years old at the time, I wouldn’t remember.

I’d be very interested to see if the Conservatives can thrash out a deal with the Lib Dems, although the Lib Dem supporters are dead set against it, with their policies more in tune with Labour’s own.

I see another election within the next year or so. Any thoughts?

    • we have a hung parliment each time there are elections .the polititions only think about themselvs on of the people or the nation. so it is up for the people to make them change the situation
