He said he didn't have his mobile with him. I said sorry I can't help. Lo and behold, he called me half an hour later from his mobile and made the booking. When I asked him, what do you think I'm going to do with your number, he said, well...you might call me afterwards. Why would I do that, I asked. He couldn't come up with a reply. What gets me is just what the hell do they think we're going to do with their number? Suddenly fall in love with them after an hour, and start ringing them? Stalk them? Pffftt...get over yourselves, gents. And frankly, none of us would win if they're worried about being blackmailed. Common sense is such a wonderful gift, I wish I could bottle it and hand it out for Christmas. A-MEN!
