Kinky La Rue

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’ll know that today is the 40th anniversary of Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong landing on the moon. I have no recollection of it myself, but it’s been great watching various tv programmes and news items with bits of film and photos. There is a documentary tonight on the Discovery Channel but alas, I’ll miss it as I have a booking this evening. I’m hoping it’ll be repeated at some point soon. I wonder if the conspiracy theorists have any new ones.

In other news, more history has been made. In the cricket, England beat Australia at Lord’s today. The last time we did it?  In 1934, 75 years ago. That’s one down, three to go.
