We tried to re-arrange our booking for today after the onslaught of the snow yesterday, but he didn’t call to confirm. I guess he got fed-up with the whole thing. It probably would’ve taken me goodness knows how long to get to Enfield anyway.  It seems to be one of those things that wasn’t meant to be.
